We are Proud of our Berners and the Puppies from Carousel Kennels We strive to place our pups in loving homes and even have a few veterinarians purchase their berner from us. Updated photos from new owners are always welcomed!

Once the new litters pictures are posted here, we will then take reservations. Pups may be visited from birth until 3 weeks old, after that they cannot bevisited or handled until they are picked up or shipped.If you are visiting pups prior to three weeks, you mayonly see or handle the pup you reserved, or any pups not yet reserved.Once a puppy is reserved it is only handled by us and no other puppy buyers.
Due to the pups immunities being lowest at weaning age we do not allow visitors when pups are between 3 to 6 weeks of age.

If Shipped we charge $100 for the arrangements on our end. You pay the Airline Fee when pup arrives at its destination. We cannot charge a flat fee due to fluctuation of Airline Fees Airline Fees have been running $225-$260

PLANNING TO VISIT?
When scheduling an appointment to visit the animals, PLEASE keep the following in mind.

1. We rarely schedule any visits before Noon Central Time. With many morning chores to be completed before our day begins.

2. Keep your visitor numbers to ONLY TWO ADULTS. We have a small home and it is difficult to accommodate a group of people.

3. NO CHILDREN We have this rule for safety sake and to prevent stress on our animals who are not accustomed to energic children.

Puppy visits can be scheduled anytime after they are born. Kitten visits can only be scheduled after they turn 8 weeks of age.
We and our insurer thank you for adhering to these restrictions.

Looks like these two pups are right at home on their first day! And Charlotte below at almost 7 months old.

UPDATE ON A PAST PUP! Bailey now 5 1/2 months old weighs 80 lbs and is over 5 1/2 feet tall standing on hind legs!

"Bailey" the HERO! Bailey and his owner were relaxing in front of the tv one night, when an intruder broke the lock and charged through the front door, brandishing a knife. Bailey immediately attacked the intruder grabbing him on the arm, while his owner retreated to call the police. The intruder dropped the knife and ran, only to be captured later when he had to receive medical treatment for his bite! Way to go Bailey! You are the HERO!

SUMMER PUPS During the warmer months our dogs enjoy air conditioning and our litters are all birthed indoors.

They have approx 6 x 6 feet of carpet and straw. As soon as they can toddle they will have access through doggy door to the outside grass. We hope this helps them housebreak easy when they go to their new homes. Our kennel building has a washer, bathing area, grooming station and refrigerator handy, usually full of dog goodies! The pups are subjected to music from birth, along with the sounds of grooming and general cleaning.

All Puppies are sold as pet quality. Although your puppy has be vet checked prior to leaving it must be taken to your vet within 72 hours for full examination. If your vet finds pup to be unhealthy it must be returned immediately for full refund.
If puppy dies of genetic flaw or defect prior to one year of age, a replacement puppy will be provided as soon as one is available. We do give a ten day parvo guarantee, if pup dies of parvo prior to ten days from pickup, half the purchase price will be given. We will not place another pup in a parvo environment.
Although the parents of your pup may be OFA'd clear of hip dysplasia either with a rating or preliminary rating, this does not mean your pup could not develop bad hips. Due to environmental factors being a possible contributor to such developments we do not give a guarantee for hips.
As stated above all pups are sold as PETS. We do not guarantee pups to be breeding or show quality, although many certainly are.
Also be aware that umbilical hernias seem to be a common berner pediatric occurance. The few that have occurred in our past litters have been discovered to be only fatty umbilical tissue. In other words an "Outy" belly button. If we do find one we are concerned with we will hopefully have it corrected prior to six weeks of age. Email for a full description of our guarantees.

~~~~~~HOW IS MY PUPPY RAISED?~~~~~~
Puppies are raised on gravel and grass. They are not reared on smooth surfaces such as concrete or vinyl flooring! This will prevent splaying of feet and puppies going down on their pasterns. Puppies have a straw area about 6 x 10 until they are approx 4 weeks old. At four weeks they are given an additional area indoors with access to small outdoor grassy area. As puppies age the grassy area is increased. Puppies are kept clean with them breaking themselves to potty on the grass. At three weeks puppies are begun weaning process by being supplemented with puppy milk formula. By five weeks puppies are eating dry Iams puppy food along with the milk replacer.By this time puppies are pottying approx 25 feet from their bedding area. At six weeks milk replacer is dropped and pups only eat dry Iams puppy and water. At this age the mother may still have access, although pups are usually fully weaned by now. Puppies are vet checked around five weeks, and start the first shot series. Worming is done at three weeks and five weeks of age. All puppies are placed on Revolution heartworm preventative.
